These Competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, Tennerfest Terms & Conditions.
Together these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between these terms and the General Terms, these terms shall prevail.
Competition name
Win a Tennerfest meal running from the Start Date to the End Date as set out below (the “Competition”).
Promoter
Hamilton Brooke, registered office: Hamilton Brooke, St George's Place, St Peter Port, Guernsey GY1 2BH (the “Promoter”).
Competition details
This is a Tennerfest meal competition for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Start Date
Wednesday 4 October 2023 at 12:00pm
End Date
Thursday 19 October 2023 at 4:00pm
Any entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date (as stated above) will be invalid.
We reserve the right to broadcast details of, or promotion for, the Competition at any time throughout the opening period.
To enter, you must comment which island you live on, which 2023 Tennerfest restaurant you would like to eat at, and name the person you would like to dine with.
You may enter as many times as you like.
After the Entry Period has closed, one entrant per competition from all of the valid entries received will be selected by automated random draw (the “Draw”).
Two Competitions will run, one for Jersey and one for Guernsey.
In order to win the Competition, the randomly selected entrant must answer their direct message or contact mail@tennerfest.com by 19 October.
The £100 meal voucher will be provided to the nominated restaurant to be paid against your Tennerfest meal. You must book your table at the restaurant. If you book a table and do not show up, it is at the restaurant's discretion to rebook on another day.
In accordance with licensing laws, the restaurant will serve food to any of the competition winner's companions who are under 18, but will not serve alcohol to them.
Any extra restaurant charges for goods and services over the £100 voucher should be paid for by the competition entrant and not by the restaurant, Tennerfest or Hamilton Brooke.
Tennerfest and Hamilton Brooke are not responsible for any network or technical issues an entrant may experience, which may delay or prevent their participation or claiming the prize.
Entrant restrictions
The Competition is only open to people aged 18 and over who are not a Hamilton Brooke employee or their immediate family (including live-in partner) and are not an employee of any third-party sponsors or prize providers, or their immediate family (including live-in partner).
Entrants must obtain permission from the bill payer before using wifi or mobile data to enter the Competition.
Winner announcement
Entrants who are randomly selected will be named on the Tennerfest pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
By entering the Competition, the entrant is automatically consenting to being called and having their name and location, as well as any other details or information they share about themselves, being announced online.
Entrants are only able to win a single prize throughout the duration of this Competition.
Prize details
The Prize will always be a £100 voucher to spend in a restaurant named in the 2023 Tennerfest.com website.
The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.
Where, it emerges after the Prize has been awarded that the entrant was in breach of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from that winner and they will not be entitled to any further reward or remuneration. We reserve the right to exclude individuals who breach our terms and conditions from entering our competitions.
Data protection
By entering the Competition, Entrants personal data will always be used to process their entry.
Intellectual property and consent
Whilst online, for the purposes of this competition entrants must not use foul language, swear, say or do anything defamatory or illegal or say or do anything which would damage the reputation of the Promoter, is offensive or inappropriate or which would cause us, or our suppliers harm. Failure to comply will result in disqualification, and if the entrant has won the prize, this will be forfeited.
We will only accept entries that comply with our terms and conditions and we may disqualify the entrant if we know or suspect that they have breached them. All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into about the operation of this Competition. We have the right to cancel, amend, terminate or suspend this Competition if forced to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
